If a brand is owned by another brand, like Unilever, Clorox, L’Oreal… I believe it’s “false advertising”… and continues to spread misinformation to people who are actually trying to do right.

Also, companies get bought out ALL the time – ones that have been trusted for YEARS… so make sure it’s the most recent review, especially as companies also can change ingredients or where they sell.

Cruelty free is the only way. You can’t be in a world that is fighting for all kinds of equality and equity for humans who can work to change their environment while animals sit helpless in cages subject to torture. None of our products should be sold in China until they stop the mandatory animal testing. It is a ruse to torture animals for whatever else they do in labs. Shameful Redken and others… I have transferred all my stuff from Redken to Pureology, and my hairstylist carries Pureology now and Aveda. Yay!

In reply to Rahma. Garnier became Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free on March 8 of 2021! They don't physically sell in mainland China either!!
