Yeah, I’m kinda iffy about the whole of L’Oreal being included. A friend used to head up their sustainability and social impact department and while she was there spearheaded the initiative to stop animal testing in China. Because they have offices there, sell there, and have employees there, they’ve been able to influence the government there to accept cruelty free requirements for product testing. In 2017, the Chinese government agreed to move over to the American standard for 3 types of tests because of the lobbying of L’Oreal. L’Oreal itself has been cruelty free in every other country for 35 years—well before it was popular. Look—my dog was rescued from Chinese animal testing, so obviously this is something I’m passionate about. But I also think it’s important to support the companies fighting for change and not just the ones who refuse to sell there.

All Lives Matter, there is no hierachy or specifying if we want to manage and preserve a healthy shared ecosystem on this planet. All of the issues you mention were caused by mankind through greed, dominance and control. Your ignorence and hard heart only perpetuates the very issues of cruelty and brutality you believe are not important considerations for innocent animals but only for innocent humans. All Lives Matter!
